WEconnect’s engagement and results are greater than any other digital solution. WEconnect couples strong technology with peer recovery support specialists who assist patients in real time by developing comprehensive recovery plans to keep members in long-term recovery.
Yes. We take privacy very seriously and maintain HIPAA-compliant standards.
WEconnect utilizes GPS location verification and URL verification to validate routine check-ins. It's only possible to check into routines if a member is in the right place at the right time. All member activity is visible on back-end dashboards, so improper use of the app signals a care team to intervene.
WEconnect Peer recovery support specialists (PRSS) have either a state-recognized certification or a national credential. Peers are also encouraged to become NAADAC-certified within 6 months of hire. Requirements for obtaining a credential varies by state, but typically requires:
- 20-100 hours of peer work, signed off on by a supervisor
- Personal or lived recovery experience
- Passing score on a test demonstrating knowledge of recovery, treatment, and ethical boundaries
Every member of our PRSS team is trained in recovery management, education, and advocacy, professional ethics and responsibility, and confidentiality.
For members, WEconnect is completely free!
WEconnect offers many different levels of subscription (priced per member per month) and value-based pricing models. Contact us to learn more.
Depending on your members’ needs and subscription plan, our rewards program can last from a month, to 6 months, a year, and beyond. We have multiple rewards programs available to choose from, and we can also create customized packages on request. Please contact us for details.
Contingency management, the proven technique behind our incentive-based program, has been shown to be the single most effective standalone method for treating substance use disorder. Rewards provide an incentive and keep patients highly engaged in their recovery plan. Keeping patients in long-term recovery reduces emergency department stays and readmissions over time. As a quality improvement activity, WEconnect helps drive a healthy medical loss ratio (MLR).
WEconnect Health supports patient wellness by providing them with the opportunity to earn digital gift cards for adhering to their care plan. By staying accountable to their recovery, they earn rewards. Patients can leverage these rewards to support their social determinants of health.

We generally conduct one or two video call meetings, then we may have you meet members of the team you'll be working with most. Giving you the opportunity to meet with teammates from various functions (product, engineering, design, etc.) is also a possibility. You may be asked to do a take-home “assessment” prior to your interview. For software development roles, we ask you to complete a take-home exercise to showcase your skills. You will expand upon this exercise during your interview, so please be prepared to discuss that and for the possibility of some virtual whiteboarding as well.
Our mobile front end is built with React Native and Typescript; our web front end is written in Typescript and React. Our back end consists of node.js hosted on Heroku and supported by PostgreSQL.". We don't require experience with all of these technologies, but expect fluency in a couple. We do need you to be comfortable contributing in a Typescript environment.
We're always on the look out for hardworking, talented people with a growth mindset to become teammates. If you don't see an open position that directly aligns with your current experience, feel free to submit a general application.
