“In 2014, I woke up on the cold floor of a jail cell at the correctional facility in Burien, Washington. I knew at that moment that I couldn't live with my mental health and substance issues anymore. I didn't know if there was a way out or if there were any solutions available. While I was fortunate to find my way through, I created something where people don't have to wonder about that. They can get the support they need efficiently, warmly, and effectively.”
“I shut the whole world out—family, friends, anybody that cared about me. I was in a hotel room on Sunset strip. Instead of the manager of this hotel calling the police, he luckily called an interventionist.”
“Police officers thought I was dead at the scene. I guess it all really started when I asked for help. Because when I got out of treatment, I didn’t have anything.”
